2nd round Serena sweeps into third round Serena Williams d. Jarmila Groth (AUS) 6-2, 6-1. An easy win for Serena, putting her slow start in the 1st round behind her, as she gets the better of her Australian opponent dropping just three games along the way. Serena sees the bigger picture
